In some cases you can, however in most cases you will need to pay a mix of both Barter and Cash. The reason for this is the value of the BarterZone Currency is 1 $NZ Dollar equals 1$BZ Dollar. The IRD does not accept BarterZone Dollars for tax payments but does recognise that barter is to be accounted for in all accounting returns. Therefore most suppliers of goods and services will require some portion of a transaction be made in cash. |
